Our Philosophy
Making memories with the people we love is one of the most important things in life. And being able to do this whilst exploring the world is a privilege.
Luxury has a gatekeeping problem.
For too long, 'boutique' has been shorthand for 'overpriced.' While other curators focus on the £1,000-a-night elite, we believe that intelligent design and soulful hospitality should be accessible to everyone.
We curate the mid-market - the £150 to £250 sweet spot - where you get the 10/10 aesthetic without the 10/10 bill. And of course we add in some properties above and below too, because some hotel's are just too special to be left-out. And you never know when you might need a value-friendly trip - or a splash-out stay.
Our Story
I’m Wendy, a South African-born creative with a 15-year career in digital marketing and a background in Fine Art and Interior Design. After a decade and a half of building eCommerce brands and exploring the world—from Thailand to the USA and everywhere in between—I realized that travel is about more than stars; it’s about soul. I created The Stay Dreamer to combine my love for design-led interiors with a data-science approach to curation, helping you find stays that resonate with your personal travel identity. It's also a way to satisfy my endless need to look for the perfect hotel, and somewhere to store the best ones I come across! My own personal wish-list - and now it can be yours too.
